[15149736] DNA Binding; Transactivation Human; Mouse Strong Cotransfection of HeLa, SaOs-2, and U2-OS cells with ERR expression plasmids and reporter genes driven either by three ERR response elements or two estrogen response elements demonsrate that ERRγ activates both reporter genes efficiently in all three cell lines used.

ERRγ DNA-binding ability and activation function-2 are required for ERE- and ERRE-dependent transactivation is demonstrated by mutational analysis of ERRgamma, ERR element reporter genes and EMSA/supershifts.
