ChIP assay shows TFII-I is recruited to the c-fos promoter. EMSAs indicate binding of TFII-I (Gtf2i) to the Inr element. In vitro transcription assays suggest TFII-I (Gtf2i) is essential for TATA-Inr+ transcription.
