Pubmed ID Function Species Evidence Strength Reviewer's Comments Reviewer
[2385294] DNA Binding; Transactivation Mouse Medium old study shows activation domain by Gal4 fusion experiments; E12 interaction seems to be required for sequence specific binding. Jared Roach
[15497153] Transactivation Mouse Weak myf5 and myod overlap in function based on double knockout studies Jared Roach
Additional Reviewer Comments:
Reviewer: Jared Roach

Similar to MyoD, so is probably a TF. Cannot find direct published evidence for DNA binding. This reviewer comment is necessary at this stage in the annotation; if subsequent algorithms fail to identify this gene is a TF, we will need to modify the algorithms. Once this gene is identified by subsequent algorithms, this comment can be removed.
